Certification Course

Classical Methods of NeuroFeedback

We are pleased to inform you that the Certification Course on Neurofeedback will now be conducted throughout the Year 2010 the moment we have 5 participants.

Trainees do not need to have any medical background but it would be advantageous to have psychological nursing or some skills in the counselling and therapeutic areas.  

For this course we shall give priority to participants who want to work with us to set up clinics in the HDB estates.  We intend to begin with one neurofeedback centre per HDB estate for Year 2010. Interested parties are requested to contact us.  

The course fee for participants will be S$4500 per pax. We shall begin the course when we have a minimum of 5 students. The Course will be a 5 full day, beginning at 9am and ending at 5pm.  After this, there shall be a 6 month attachment for trainees to understand and show the following:a) proof of knowledge of treatment pointsb) usage of the feedback machinec) records keeping of the case history

d) hands-on treatment of a minimum of 5 patients, and a maximum of 8 patients

e) a final test

This will then lead to a Certification known as Certificate on Classical Methods of NeuroFeedback.

However if you do not wish to take up the Certification module, but just want to become an analyst-technician, the course will be S$2500 per pax.  You can then work towards the Certification aspects once you have accumulated enough job experience. There will also be a final test once you are ready. The cost for the Coaching, Test and Certification will be S$2000.  The test must be taken within one year after the course.

Within a year of Certification, the graduate must treat a minimum of 30 patients and would become eligible for the Advanced Z-Score Training (2 days).   After passing this training, the student is eligible to maintain his certified status for 2 years. Thereafter an annual test will be administered to ensure currency and practice.

* We recently conducted a Certification Course in Malacca, Oct 2009 at the College of Complementary Medicine.  The syllabus and certification was approved by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
